Overview

This episode was played at Rafiq and Haikal's apartment, and included the following players:

• Haikal, playing Thruggsahmigul
• Toph, playing Mayari Atum
• Buzz, playing Jonathan Clearwater

This episode concluded in The Watch being formed after Sahm, Mayari, and Jon repelled an incursion that happened at Governor Ortlinde's mayoral rally. This incursion was the largest yet recorded in Ilrinia, but due to Aero, the Beacon, and the Swan showing up, the demon that came out of it was slain with no civilian casualties.

This was aided by Xen Myers posting an article with an "exclusive interview" with the three, in truth a calculated plan to get ahead of the Awakened chasing the heroes down for vigilanteeism by painting them as heroes of Ilrinia and throwing their support behind Gov. Ortlinde's campaign.

The only ones aware of this are Xen, by virtue of writing and posting the article, but also Lucan Atum, Ascanius Morzansson, and Thalia Thorne, friends of the three. It is also revealed that not only does Elias Thorne, the Archmage of the Awakened, know Mayari is the Beacon, but was also the former Beacon himself, by Elias showing up at Mayari's apartment that night.
